Shuo Zhang is a dedicated sports marketing and basketball operations professional with extensive experience in youth basketball development.
He has spent over a decade working with young athletes, supporting their growth through training, international exposure, and competitive opportunities.
As Co-Founder of the United Chinese Basketball Association (UCBA), Shuo has led grassroots initiatives, built cross-cultural partnerships, and collaborated with top-level youth programs to help players advance in their athletic and academic journeys.
His work focuses on creating meaningful pathways for talent development across global markets.

Mr. Jerej Haggins
A native New Yorker and proud Brooklyn Tech graduate, Jerej Haggins holds a Bachelor degree in Sports Management from Hampton University and has spent the last two decades dedicated to athlete development, mentorship, and community engagement through basketball.
From 2015 to 2024, Jerej served as Lead Basketball Consultant at Eagle Academy in Brooklyn, helping lead the team to back-to-back city championships and consistent postseason appearances. His leadership and strategic approach to player development have supported countless student-athletes in advancing to the collegiate level.
In addition to his coaching work, Jerej is a Skills Development consultant at Total Body Transformation (TBT) Fitness Studio in Fort Lee, supporting athlete-focused training and development.
Jerej brings his experience, passion for the game, and commitment to community and youth empowerment to every aspect of his work, driving forward a vision for accessible, competitive, and meaningful basketball opportunities.

Mr. Sam Mateo
With over 20 years of experience coaching youth basketball, Coach Sam brings passion, discipline, and leadership to every team he works with.
Known for his ability to connect with kids and help them grow both on and off the court, he has dedicated much of his life to mentoring young athletes and instilling in them the values of hard work, teamwork, and perseverance.
Originally from Puerto Rico, Coach Sam has also built a successful career in the construction industry. He has worked as a supervisor for a major construction company for 25 years and is the proud owner of Mateo Renovation, his own renovation business which he has operated for the past 5 years. His background in construction mirrors his coaching philosophy—laying strong foundations and building up from there.
A devoted family man, Coach Sam Mateo has been happily married for 21 years and counting. His commitment to his family, his players, and his craft defines who he is both on the court and in the community.
