Shuo Zhang is a dedicated sports marketing and basketball operations professional with extensive experience in youth basketball development.
He has spent over a decade working with young athletes, supporting their growth through training, international exposure, and competitive opportunities.
As Co-Founder of the United Chinese Basketball Association (UCBA), Shuo has led grassroots initiatives, built cross-cultural partnerships, and collaborated with top-level youth programs to help players advance in their athletic and academic journeys.
His work focuses on creating meaningful pathways for talent development across global markets.

Mr. Jerej Haggins
A native New Yorker and proud Brooklyn Tech graduate, Jerej Haggins holds a Bachelor degree in Sports Management from Hampton University and has spent the last two decades dedicated to athlete development, mentorship, and community engagement through basketball.
From 2015 to 2024, Jerej served as Lead Basketball Consultant at Eagle Academy in Brooklyn, helping lead the team to back-to-back city championships and consistent postseason appearances. His leadership and strategic approach to player development have supported countless student-athletes in advancing to the collegiate level.
In addition to his coaching work, Jerej is a Skills Development consultant at Total Body Transformation (TBT) Fitness Studio in Fort Lee, supporting athlete-focused training and development.
Jerej brings his experience, passion for the game, and commitment to community and youth empowerment to every aspect of his work, driving forward a vision for accessible, competitive, and meaningful basketball opportunities.

Mr. Marcus Soumah
Originally from Toronto, Ontario, Marcus Soumah is a dedicated basketball coach and youth mentor with over 20 years of experience as both a player and coach. He works with middle school and AAU athletes, focusing on skill development, discipline, and leadership both on and off the court.
Marcus operates across Toronto, New Jersey, and California, coaching and training young athletes through a hands-on, mentorship-driven approach. His programs emphasize not only athletic performance but also personal growth and academic accountability.
For Marcus, basketball has always been more than a game—it’s been an outlet, a source of stability, and a platform to empower the next generation. His mission is to instill that same sense of purpose and confidence in the young athletes he works with every day.

Mr. Sam Mateo
With over 20 years of experience coaching youth basketball, Coach Sam brings passion, discipline, and leadership to every team he works with.
Known for his ability to connect with kids and help them grow both on and off the court, he has dedicated much of his life to mentoring young athletes and instilling in them the values of hard work, teamwork, and perseverance.
Originally from Puerto Rico, Coach Sam has also built a successful career in the construction industry. He has worked as a supervisor for a major construction company for 25 years and is the proud owner of Mateo Renovation, his own renovation business which he has operated for the past 5 years. His background in construction mirrors his coaching philosophy—laying strong foundations and building up from there.
A devoted family man, Coach Sam Mateo has been happily married for 21 years and counting. His commitment to his family, his players, and his craft defines who he is both on the court and in the community.

Mr. Sean "Zeek" Holmes
With over 20 years of coaching experience, Sean “Zeek” Holmes has built a legacy rooted in passion, purpose, and player development. As the founder of the Jerzy Angels AAU program since 2014, Coach Zeek has helped countless athletes earn scholarships to Division I, II, and III schools—and some have even gone on to play professionally.
Known statewide as a true “players’ coach,” Coach Zeek’s influence extends well beyond the court. From road trips to team dinners, he’s built lifelong bonds with his players, emphasizing life lessons, character, and heart. Whether coaching at DePaul Catholic, supporting Orange High School or Passaic High School, or now leading Marion P. Thomas Charter High School in Newark, NJ, Coach Zeek has consistently made his mark.
In 2023, he was named head coach of Marion P. Thomas Charter HS and wasted no time making history—leading the team to its first-ever state playoff appearance in 2024, and again in 2025. Known across New Jersey as “The Dog Trainer,” Coach Zeek is celebrated for instilling toughness, hustle, and heart in every athlete he trains.
Now joining Delson’s Elite Basketball, Coach Zeek brings the same fire, faith, and focus that have defined his career. A devout Christian, proud father of five, and happily married for 16 years, Coach Zeek continues to live out his mission: to inspire, lead, and uplift the next generation—on and off the court.

Mr. Dennis Green
Dennis "DGreen" "Denny" Green is a former Division I and professional basketball player who now channels his passion for the game into developing the next generation of athletes. A top-ranked 8th grader in New York City and a standout at St. Patrick’s High School, Dennis built a reputation early on for his relentless work ethic and leadership.
In 2018, Dennis began working with Delson as a player, committed to refining his skills. As his career transitioned beyond playing, he continued his journey with Delson—now helping to run basketball camps and train athletes ranging from youth to professionals. With his motivating presence, deep knowledge of the game, and lived experience at every level, Dennis brings unmatched energy and insight to every training session.
Off the court, Dennis serves as a Lead 5th Grade Math Teacher, continuing his mission to educate, inspire, and lead by example in all areas of life.
